Following the shock defeat against Newbury, the 1st XV were eager to bounce back and make amends last Saturday away against a Swindon side that had collected a few notable scalps recently.

Tows ran riot. They inflicted a massive defeat against their hosts with tries coming from all over the field and scoring the most points they have done in this league. Tows Director of Rugby said he was proud at how the boys had responded but although the scoreline was impressive we left a lot of points out there, and we need to sharpen up in some areas”. The development XV had what was potentially a tough fixture and possible championship decider against Ampthill 2nds, whose 1st XV play in National League 1. A very strong Tows team quickly got on top and never looked back and ran out winners and division champions! Well done to all involved.
