Netball has arrived at the Tows
We previously told you we were going to set up, (by popular demand)
a brand-new Netball section! So we did!!
The Tennis section kindly let us paint a netball court onto the single court whilst refurbishing the tennis courts recently. It really looks smart and we have purchased bibs, posts, nets, balls and training aids so we are ready to go.
We have had tremendous support from England Netball who will help with coaching, taster days and tournaments etc.
Towcester Gold netball team heard about what we are doing and instantly wanted to be involved and now have agreed to become Towcestrians (Tows) Gold!!
They have just started training on Monday evenings and are loving it at their new home! If we get really popular we will extend the training to include Sunday mornings so that all you mums can play while the kids play rugby and cricket!
Tows Gold will play competitive games in leagues and our aim of course is to be the best around and have lots of teams, juniors, adult and “vets” sides.
So, whether you just want to have some fun and get some great exercise getting “back into netball” or be fiercely competitive then come to the training evenings and join in.
They held their first training night this week and had juniors (boys and girls) playing from 6-7.00 pm and then the ladies took over for their session 7-9.30 pm. READ MORE
Tows Gold will have their own fully qualified coach so don’t worry if you feel a bit rusty come and give Netball a try.
The great thing about netball at Tows is that you can also use all the great facilities available at the club, showers, changing rooms, toilets, kitchen to make yourselves a cuppa and the bar to relax in.

Tows netball want people of all ages and skill levels to come and join in the fun, so why not come and give it a try.
